I went to Michaels (again!) and found some new stuff. Plus, the order from Fire Mountain arrived today!

Cute little things found at Michaels...

And a grab bag of goodies Mom ordered for me! Lots of cultured pearls, and some small millefiore pendants/beads.

Next order will include peridot and citrine, but it can wait. I've got more stuff than I know what to do with!

How charming!

I had a bit of a shopping spree at Michaels on Friday. I bought a whole bunch of great things!

Charms! Lots of charms! The keys are for a charm necklace I'm planning. It will have glass hearts.

Travel charms for bracelets. The New York charms are for my sister (we grew up there), the London ones for me. My dream is to take a long trip to England...

Blown glass beads- they look delicate, but are actually pretty strong. They don't break easily. Also: a millefiore heart and a cute pendant from Manor House.

Semi-precious gemstone beads. Aventurine, agate, fluorite, "fancy" jasper, and amethyst. My mother has an account with Fire Mountain Gems, so she's ordered some freshwater pearls, peridot, and citrine beads for me! I can make some terrific jewlery with this stuff.

Finally, a finished project! I found the yellow lampworked beads at A.C. Moore (Beyond Beautiful brand). The seed beads are from Blue Moon. This project took me three nights to finish. The hardest part was stringing the seed beads. There are 16 total strands! I made loose braids with the strands.

Bead shopping!

I picked up a lot off goodies at Michaels yesterday.

They had a clearance on Swarovski crystals, so I bought several packets. I'll probably go back and get more before the sale is over.

So pretty! Rose and peridot bicones, 4 and 6 mm.

Two new pendants from Lost and Found (Blue Moon):

Here is a work in progress:

That's what it will sort of look like. I have to restring the seed beads. The lampwork beads are gorgeous. I had trouble putting them with anything, until I found the green seed beads and the gold hearts. I think it will come together really well.

Ladybug, ladybug!

This was for a friend's birthday. She loved it! She adores ladybugs.

It took two hours, mainly because I kept changing the design. All of the beads are from Blue Moon, except for the silver tubes and the small ladybug.

I picked up this pair of dragonflies a few weeks ago. I haven't decided yet what to do with them.

And a book I want will be out soon: Chic & Easy Beading Volume 3. I have the first two. They're terrific! I've found great project ideas and tips in them.

Inspired once again!

I used the beads I bought yesterday to make this!

I call it "Fashionista".

The clasp:

Took me an hour and a half. The tube beads and pendant are silver. Everything came from Blue Moon/Manor House except the tubes (Bead Gallery).

My Beading Book!

I wanted to keep a record of my beading projects. I decorated a notebook with seed beads. This is where I'll put photos of my projects!
